Hi, I’m Alice Lang – and these are my notes.
Based in Chester but originally from North Wales, I’m a 20-something digital marketer by day and blogger by night.
I experienced acne and other skin issues for around a decade of my life. After keeping it to myself for the majority of my teenage years, I decided to open up about it online. I connected with so many other women who felt exactly the same way I did — fed up, lacking confidence and, frankly, sick of the seemingly never-ending battle of hormonal acne.
While I’ve managed to clear my skin by taking acne medications like spironolactone and Roaccutane, I’ve also spent time working on my mindset and realising I’m more than my skin — acne or not. I’ve realised that people don’t remember you for what you look like — but rather, how you make them feel. And that’s exactly why I’m writing this blog.
I share notes on dealing with acne, feeling comfortable in your own skin, loving yourself for who you are, with a little bit of general beauty + skincare stuff thrown in for good measure!
